New Parent Workshop

Laying strong foundations for lifelong mental health

We’re seeing more and more teens struggling with anxiety, overwhelm, and emotional dysregulation — and as a parent, that’s a frightening future to imagine for your own child.

But emotional wellbeing doesn’t start in adolescence.

It begins in the earliest moments of life — in how we connect, respond, and lay the foundations for emotional resilience. While there’s an overwhelming amount of support out there for birth, feeding, sleeping, and routines —I found as a new mum, there was far less for a child’s emotional health, or your own emotional journey into motherhood.

These supportive, small-group workshops are designed for new mums of babies and toddlers who want to start strong — building confidence, connection, and emotional understanding right from the beginning.

Grounded in psychology, attachment theory, and lived experience, we explore:

  • What emotional wellbeing looks like in babies, toddlers, and parents

  • How to build secure attachment through everyday moments

  • How to support your child’s developing nervous system and emotional world

  • Simple ways to regulate your own emotions so you can show up with calm and confidence

You won’t always get it right (none of us do) — but when you understand what’s going on beneath the surface, you can respond with more calm, more confidence… and less panic-Googling at 3am.
