My influences
My coaching is shaped by years spent in classrooms, leadership, psychology study, parenthood, and transformative coaching. From early childhood to adolescence, I bring insight, empathy and practical tools to support real emotional growth.
-
Psychology
My psychology degree gave me a deep understanding of human behaviour, emotions, and mental processes—helping me unlock why we feel and act the way we do. I often describe my coaching role as being a “translator,” not just helping clients interpret their own inner world, but also bridging communication between people—especially between kids, teens, and their parents. This skill of connecting and clarifying feelings lies at the heart of how I support real change.
-
Transformative Coaching
Training in the Ollie Model of Transformative Coaching gave me powerful tools to help clients shift limiting beliefs and patterns that hold them back. This certification added a practical, solution-focused edge to my approach, equipping me with techniques to guide people through deep personal change, unlocking potential, rewriting old stories, and helping clients move toward a calmer, more confident life. It blends seamlessly with the knowledge and understanding I bring from my other experiences.
-
Classroom Teacher
Spending decades in a classroom gave me a wide-ranging insight into children’s development, emotions, and learning styles. Beyond teaching the curriculum, I was constantly tuning into what children were trying to communicate and supporting parents through the ups and downs of school life. This hands-on experience sharpened my ability to listen deeply, respond with empathy, and coach families through emotional challenges—skills that continue to shape my coaching practice today.
-
Early Years Headship
As owner and head of Bo-Peep Nursery in West London, I became a steady source of guidance for both children and parents navigating big emotional moments. Drawing on my teaching, psychology and life experience, I developed a deep ability to tune into what a child’s behaviour is really trying to say. With empathy and clarity, I helped parents understand their child’s inner world—translating emotional cues into meaningful insights.
This bridging of understanding, between what’s felt and what’s said, between intention and interpretation, is at the heart of my coaching today. Because true change doesn’t come from control or correction, but from connection.

Change Management
While working in change management with Accenture, I honed my people skills by collaborating with clients to understand and meet their unique needs. This experience has shaped my coaching approach, focused on personalized, results-driven support for individuals and families alike.
